   Born in Paris, Jeane-Agnès Bertholot de Pléneuf, the daughter of a wealthy merchant, married the marquis de Prié, ambassador to Turin. The mistress of louis-Henri de bourbon-condé, in many ways she governed France through her influence while he was prime minister. She supported the fiscal plans of joseph pâris and arranged the marriage of marie leszczynska to louis XV. She went into exile after the dismissal of the prince de Condé.
